The seasons they are a changing. While I’d sort of love summer to hang around all year long, our daylight is slipping away, it’s getting cooler overnight…well a little…the college drop-off is done and our middle schooler headed back to class as well. It’s time to get my head around a new season and all the changes in routine that come with it.
I received this product for free from Mom’s Meet to test and post my honest opinions. Compensation for this post was provided.
Just as I was adapting to all the seasonal changes and stalking my daughter’s sorority Instagram feed, Once Again Gourmet Dessert Butter showed up at my door. I think it was the universe’s way of telling me some back-to-school snacking fun was in order.
Among my favorite things in life are gathering around a fire AND the combination of chocolate and nut butter. I decided to combine my loves and make s’mores. Not just any s’mores, I elevated them with Gourmet Almond Spread with Milk Chocolate, then added, fruit, nuts, you name it, for extra pizzazz.
Before I get to the s’mores, let’s talk about Once Again Gourmet Almond Spread with Milk Chocolate for a sec. In a word, it’s amazing.
The Once Again Nut Butter Company is based in upstate New York. They’ve been making delicious nut butters, seed butters and honey since 1976. Everything is certified gluten-free, non-GMO verified, organic and vegan. Amoré Almond Spread with Milk Chocolate is considered a “dessert butter”. Who knew dessert butter was a thing? Not I, but I Iove the idea. Apparently so does my husband. I had to shoo him away from the jar on numerous occasions. It really is irresistible.
You don’t have to make s’mores to enjoy Amoré Almond Spread. It’s super delicious on apple slices, on bananas, graham crackers, you name it. Heck it’s amazing right out of the jar…just ask my husband. It’s kind of a miracle I had any left for the s’mores!
Alright I’ve teased you long enough:

Looks yummy! I’m a dark chocolate girl, but in a pinch, I’ll eat milk chocolate… :p

Dark chocolate! Cookies or brownies after school (although we didn’t really do an after school snack) and who am I kidding, cookies or brownies any time. 🙂
I have been eating chocolate nut butters forever. Cause, chocolate. I’ve never called them dessert butters, though.
Love smores!

Well I’ve never tried this nut butter! What a fun idea. I do love me some S’mores and have not had one all summer. How did that happen?!

All of them look delicious, my favorite is the dark chocolate.
However the seasons they are a changing now but the only difference is that the days are shorter, the heat is the same.

These look totally sinful (in a good way). I love dark chocolate, but have never thought of S’moring with it. Thanks for the idea!!
