Is it only me or does summer seem to slip away faster than all the other seasons combined? I always start the season with grand ideas and a huuuuge bucket list of things to do/see/enjoy, but inevitably the kids are heading back to school before I’ve had a chance to check off everything. Wouldn’t it be great if there were simple, time-saving hacks we could use to take care of the stuff we HAVE to do in order to free up time for more of the stuff we WANT to do?
Healthy Time Saving Hacks for Summer
I received Wildscape Meals for free from Mom’s Meet to use and post my honest opinions. Compensation for this post was provided and this post may contain affiliate links.
Here are some tips to save some of that precious summer time so you have more time to do the stuff you enjoy.
Get up earlier. Enjoy the longer daylight before it slips away. Set intentions for the day during an energizing walk or get your workout done before life gets in the way.
Plan Your Day. There’s something about putting things on the calendar that makes them a priority, am I right? When you know what you WANT and NEED to get done, AND you carve out time for it, chances are good it’ll get done. Nip that habit of wasting time mindlessly scrolling through social media.
Plan your meals. I’ll be the first to admit, this is a huge challenge for me. Especially now that it’s summer, the kids are off doing their thing, the Caveman is traveling quite a bit, and me? While I love my job, I’m immersed in a ton of work, and I’d rather not spend my precious free time on cooking, shopping and meal prep.
You know how much I love my nice, fresh salads for lunch but when I’m on my own for dinner, I still want something nutritious. I just don’t feel like making a whole big thing. Enter Wildscape Meals.
Wildscape Meals are simple frozen meals, made from food I’d make myself, if I had the time. Each bowl brings together a complex combination of enticingly large chunks of veggies along with delicious proteins and whole grains. You’ll find vibrant colors, exciting textures and a symphony of spices you don’t find everyday in frozen food.
Not sure how they did it, but I’ve never enjoyed brussels sprouts before. Ever. Until now. This was my favorite Wildscape meal!
They come in convenient microwaveable bowls I just keep in my freezer and pop in the microwave. They’re ready in 6 minutes!
Cilantro Lime Chicken was another of my favorites. One cannot go wrong with some south-of-the-border flavors! See all the nice big chunks?
Of course I love that Wildscape meals taste great and are super convenient. But equally important is the fact that there are no funky preservatives, additives or ingredients I can’t pronounce. Just delicious, high-quality food! Yay!
Check out the vibrant colors and textures in the Togarashi Beef with Wheat Berries.
There are 6 different meals to choose from, whether you prefer beef, chicken or vegetarian, Wildscape has two options of each.
Find Wildscape Meals in the frozen meals aisle at Fresh Market, Publix, Harris Teeter, H-E-B and also Amazon Fresh. Use the store locator to find a store near you.
How do you make the most of these fleeting summer months? Do you find meal planning challenging? Have you tried Wildscape Meals?

Yum! These meals not only look delicious but they also look so healthy.

These look so good! Now that we’re becoming empty nesters (well, sort of), these could come in handy when we don’t feel like cooking.

I have not heard of these, but they look great! My cooking desire has had a major plummet with the kids being out of the house, so these would be a great alternative to “another baked potato.”

I have not seen those meals but I do like the looks of the ingredients. My summer meal planning is not as consistent

I’ve never heard of these but these will come in handy for when I go back to work. I found out that they’re available at Meijer. The first one I will try is the cilantro lime chicken.

Those dishes look amazing!! Great tips minus getting up earlier. 0530 is when I get up for work and that’s as early as I go! Lol!!!

That food looks delicious.
Get up earlier was the first thing I have done this summer. The body is not yet ready to run as before but, at least, we don’t suffer the heat.

These remind me of those frozen meals in a bag, but probably healthier.
I too am always full of big ideas and big plans for the summer but unfortunately NONE of that has happened this year. As you know, it’s been sort of a bummer of a summer for me so far but I do hope I can at least enjoy what is left of it.

Great tips! I definitely agree with them all and try to do them most of the time. They do work!

I’ve never heard of those before but they look freaking delicious! I get lax with my meal planning in the summer too and these would be great to save some time with prepping!
