It’s that time of year again. Tis the season to get the runners in your life some prezzies…maybe yourself too? Here are some of my favorite gift ideas.

For Globetrotting Runners
Race Entry
What runner wouldn’t want to find a RocknRoll Race Series Tour Pass under the tree? With 30+ race locations around the globe, there’s surely something for every runner.
If you’re looking for a super-supportive and vibrant community, a great option is the Zooma Women’s Race Series which offers races across the country, including Cape Cod, Great Lakes, Florida and Texas.
The Glide by Spibelt. I’ve been a Spibelt fan for years but The Glide is a new, dual pocket model that is a must for travel. When I’m running while I travel, I like to keep my race stuff (gels, chews) in one pocket and my travel necessities (cash/credit card, hotel key, ID) in the other, that way I’m not rummaging through a mess of stuff. I wear The Glide for both racing and touring. Of course it can be worn under or over your clothing, depending on the level of security you desire. I love that one pocket is brightly colored so I can tell which is which. So smart! The pockets are large enough to fit phones like iPhone X and iPhone 8 plus. Another unique feature on The Glide is it’s fully adjustable but with no buckle or fastener. You just step into it to put it on. Super comfy and no bounce! Buy it here.
Eagle Creek Packing Sets. I’ve included these in my gift guides for years because they’re just that good. I don’t take a racecation without my Pack-Its. Heck I don’t travel anywhere without them. This is a super convenient way to keep your running stuff separate from your “civilian” stuff. It helps you not forget things and its so much easier to be calm on race morning when you’re organized, and these are a great way to do that. Find them on Amazon here.
Fre Skincare Travel Set. Specially formulated to give sweaty skin the TLC it deserves, this travel set is just perfect to throw in your carry on or gym bag. It contains travel sizes of 3 of my Fre favorites: Purify Me hydrating cleanser, Revive Me replenishing serum, and Protect Me moisturizer with SPF 30, all in a super cute mesh travel bag. Order here and save with code RUNDEF.
Keep Your Favorite Runners Safe
SPIbeams™ LED Hat. This hat is great for runners who head out early or late. In the winter months, that’s many of us. Made of lightweight, breathable material, this hat features battery-operated LED lights at the front brim and on the back so you can see the path ahead of you AND be seen by others. So effective and way more comfortable than a headlamp. Check out all of their light-up running gear here.
Run Lites. I’ve been wearing these for years. They’re great for those early and late dog walks too, just saying. Find the half-finger style here. They’re also available in sling style and full-finger glove style too.
Rest and Recovery Gifts
Flannel PJ pants. My name is Marcia and I’m a flannel pj pantsaholic. After a long run on a cold day, I love nothing more than curling up in cozy, flannel pjs. These pj pants from Gap are my fave. One can’t go wrong with festive llamas.
Fuzzy Socks. Tired, overworked feet need love too. The fuzzier the better. Gap is my go-to for these as well.
Now Foods Magnesium Flakes and Magnesium Topical Spray. Whether or not the runner in your life (or you) enjoy a good soak in the tub, Now makes it easy to soothe tired, overworked muscles with magnesium. Keep topical magnesium spray on hand to soothe sore, strained muscles. Dissolve Magnesium Flakes under warm running water and soak for 20 minutes to enjoy the restorative powers of magnesium. Get the Magnesium Flakes here. Get Magnesium Topical Spray here.
Now Essential Oils and Diffusers. You know how I love my essential oils. They’re the perfect way to enhance the mood of your surroundings without harmful chemicals that are often found in scented candles. Check out Now’s wide assortment of essential oils and diffusers here.
For Runners Celebrating Milestones
My Marathon Jewelry. Commemorate a special race or PR with something beautiful from My Marathon Jewelry. My friend Nana handcrafts her rustic jewelry from sterling silver, gold and wire. Her designs are always changing so take a look at what she has in stock for the holidays, or she’ll be happy to collaborate with you on the perfect piece.
Fun Stocking Stuffers. Sometimes it’s fun to give a bunch of smaller essentials runners will always use:
- Lock laces
- Socks
- Honey Stinger Chews
- Run Gum
- Nuun
- Running Store gift card
- Pepper Spray
- Body Glide
What holiday gifts are you eyeing this season? What are you getting the runners in your life?

I love being in my PJs and those look so cozy.
I just replaced my old Spibelt, wish I had seen this duel compartment one first. Maybe I’ll ask for one for Christmas.
Great list!

Compression socks are key for me after a run. If it’s cold out, they add some warmth after a hot shower. If I’m not sure what to get a runner, then I send them a gift card. They buy whatever they need at the moment, or save it towards shoes.
Vanessa Junkin says
I hadn’t seen The Glide yet! I like the idea of having two separate pockets.

All great ideas, but I especially love the Eagle Creek Packing Sets. I think I might have to drop that hint to my kids. I have that same color SPIbeams LED hat and just love it for my early morning runs!
