I runfess my decluttering efforts came back to bite me. I was going about the kitchen ridding it of extraneous bowls, lids, utensils, water bottles, etc and found a couple of odd water bottle tops laying in a drawer. So I pitched them, only to learn much later that the two bottles for my hydration vest were strewn topless in the pantry (who knows why). Now they shall remain topless. Ugh.
I runfess I’m all kinds of bummed about my brand new super-deluxe eye pencil from Urban Decay. For what I paid for it, this thing oughtta sharpen its dang self but no. So I sharpened it. Did you ever have one of those #2 lead pencils that just won’t sharpen right? So you grind and grind and grind to no avail? That’s what’s going on! Mucho no bueno. Suddenly Cover Girl at Tarjay is looking mighty good.
I runfess, for once, I do not have a women’s gym locker room runfession for you. But I do have a men’s locker room runfession. The other day there was a flurry outside the men’s locker room. .Apparently some guy brought his 6 yr old daughter in to the men’s locker room with him and proceeded to have her change into her swimsuit. I runfess everything about this is disturbing to me. There is a FAMILY LOCKER ROOM!! USE IT!!!
I runfess I discovered the Caveman has been pilfering my stuff again. This time it was tubes of my Amazing Grass Effervescents. You’d better believe they found a new, covert home.
I runfess that possibly the hardest part of coming back from injury is not yet running long enough to justify using this Birthday Cake GU. Cuz come on….cake!

What do you think of the Amazing Grass stuff? I saw that in the store the other day and thought about giving it a try.
As tempting as the birthday cake GU sounds, I doubt my tummy would enjoy the “after effects.” I so long for the good old days when I could slam those gels and not have to worry about anything remorse happening….
I have a rather pricey eye pencil from Ulta that does the same thing…#frustrating
I haven’t done a run long enough to try the birthday cake gu that came in my stridebox a few weeks ago! I’m so intrigued. What is up with your gym locker rooms?? I can’t justify buying expensive makeup. Target is good enough for me!
Oh the horrors of the locker room never cease! And I have the Birthday GU sitting in my fuel box just waiting for the day I REALLY need the motivation 🙂
I am convinced that as soon as I throwing that lidless Tupperware or I’m matched sock the missing piece will appear. Ugh on the makeup pencil. That would be so frustrating.

the topless bottles are almost as frustrating as the lost socks! I have a Mac eyeliner that I love. It does sharpen itself but only lasts me a few weeks before I have to replace it. The struggles we face!
I definitely had a pencil that I screwed up trying to sharpen….I got so annoyed I threw it in the trash!

I hate it when moms (or sometimes grandmoms) bring little boys into the women’s locker room. I agree – use the family changing rooms! For some reason, a little girl in a men’s locker room is even more disturbing!
As soon as I throw anything away, I find a use for it. So annoying! that locker room thing is just horrible! What is wrong with some people.

I’d actually kind of be happy if Mr. Judy pilfered my Amazing Grass Effervescents. After reading reviews, I was leery, but I really like it (at least one)> I gave Mr. Judy a sip hoping I could ween him off the sports drink he keeps drinking (even though he’s not active) but he was not a fan. 🙁
Taking your daughter into the men’s locker room? That’s just so creepy.

Haven’t tried Amazing Grass. I don’t drink sports drinks. My hubby has been stealing my Nuun though when he plays tennis. I’m glad that it’s not going to waste.
Omg that dad….. girls should not be in men’s locker rooms! I think it’s fine to bring sons into women’s locker rooms if the son is young, but having a family one there isn’t even a reason to make that judgment call!

I really love those Amazing Grass tabs! I wont a few in a giveaway a few months ago and I used them daily when I was marathon training.
I haven’t heard about Amazing Grass, but I do use Nuun. I’m the only one in the family, which is fine by me. The tubes last me a while then, and I’ve noticed even Target is selling Nuun now.
Oh man, that thing about the bottle tops sucks. My husband is super OCD about tops and their bottles and makes sure he puts everything together. If something gets thrown out, it ALL gets thrown out lol. I need to find that GU flavor. Although, it’s warm here so thicker gels don’t sound too appetizing any more.
And the dad thing? NO, NO, A MILLION TIMES NO!

Have you tried putting the eye pencil in the freezer before sharpening it? Maybe that will help, otherwise I would try returning if it was pricey.

I bet you can go online and buy new caps. My husband throws stuff out on me all the time. I am constantly sifting through my garbage. I taught an 8 hour class today and when I called him on the way home, he said, “I got a lot done around the house today”. Uh oh.
Try CoverGirl Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner. It costs something like 5 bucks and you can buy it anywhere…Walgreens, Tarjay, Ulta, Jewel. You twist it and the ‘lead’ comes up. Almost creamy and goes on smooth. It sounds weird, but Grey Khaki is the Best. Color. Ever. It’s awesome.
I feel like I’m one of the only people that haven’t tried the Birthday Cake GU’s! I’m a fan of GU’s but haven’t even bought any for my current half marathon training!
