Last night I went on a blog field trip. I ventured to the city on a gorgeous summer night for the Laughing Cow Love Your Local event.
Emily and I quickly became Laughing Cow groupies.
You don’t know this (well now you do) but Laughing Cow and I go way back. I was a teenager and a guy I was dating packed a picnic lunch that included Perrier, fruit, a fresh baguette and yes, some Laughing Cow. That guy is long gone but my affection for the Cow is everlasting.
At the event, we were treated to a tasty spread of food while we rotated around stations learning how to #reinventsnacking by exploring healthy snack options…
…how to take better food photos, how to make a short video and more. I’d not tried Laughing Cow’s Pepper Jack variety before and it did not disappoint!
It was so great to meet Sheila, The Frugal Exerciser!
We went home with a seriously cute slate cheese plate shaped like the state of Illinois, a stash of Laughing Cow cheese and lots of other goodies. A really fun evening!
Have you tried Laughing Cow? What’s your favorite way to enjoy it?
I’m linking up with Amanda for Thinking Out Loud Thursday.
I actually just had some of this cheese for the first time and it was amazing! (my nana gave it to me with some crackers to pack in my lunch). I didn’t really want it but didn’t want to be rude. That cheese will now go on my shopping list!
I LOVE laughing cow cheese. So yummy!
I buy Aldi’s version (cheaper) and enjoy it on flatbread wraps.
Spreadable cheese is one of my weaknesses. I could eat a whole container easily ha
Also, I just wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the Blogger Recognition Award ๐ You can see my post about it on my page. Thanks for having such a great blog!
I LOVE Laughing Cow cheese. I haven’t tried the pepper jack either – but now I need to find it. Such a yummy snack.
How fun! I haven’t tried Laughing Cow (not sure if it’s lactose free), but it looks so good!
Last night was so much fun! I can’t believe that we missed each other. BOO to that.
How fun! I love this brand of cheese so do my kids. Def a healthy snack I can get down with!

How fun! I love snacking on their cheese wedges – it’s just so easy!
If they could include a lactose-free version in their range then I might give it a go.
Love Laughing Cow … I think being a LC groupie is the way to go! I mean, the Cow sent you home with gifts and cheese. What’s now to love!?
I wonder if Laughing Cow is based in Europe? I first became familiar with their brand in Germany.
I swear, you get to do all the fun stuff! Can you believe I’ve never had Laughing Cow?
It’s been a while since I’ve had it, but I used to LOVE snacking on Laughing Cow. I think my favourite way to enjoy it was pretty much just on crackers or toast with some jam. Gotta love the sweet and salty combo!
Looks like a fun event! Cheese is one of my weaknesses. Its always so tasty and I have to be careful to not eat the entire block or bowl.
You actually met the Cow?! I’d be geeked out for sure! I’m a long time lover of this cheese, except i have to share it or I eat the whole wheel. ๐ Great post!
I don’t think I’ve had laughing cow. I was thinking I had until I saw the pictures of the packaging and then realized I was thinking about Babybel. I do love cheese of all kinds!
I love cheese and haven’t had Laughing Cow! Sounds like such a fun night!! ๐
this sounds fun and that’s really fun that you met sheila – sounds like you just missed suz, bummer. i’m not a huge cheese fan (with some exceptions) but the cow is cute ๐

Looks like a lot of fun, I love laughing cow!!!
