Since I finished the New York City Marathon, I changed up my workouts to focus on strength training in the running ‘off-season’. Could the timing be better for this new crosstraining shoe from Asics to show up at my doorstep? I think not.
Meet the Asics Gel-Fit Sana. Typically the shoes I wear to the gym are old running shoes taken out of the rotation, so having a shoe designed specifically for crosstraining was a total treat.
My first impression? I honestly thought there was a problem because the Asics box was so light I was almost certain one of the shoes was missing, Wrong. The Gel-Fit Sana is that lightweight. Could the colors be any prettier? The answer is no.
The uppers are meshy and light. All the better to keep hard-working feet cool. The tongue is integral to the liner so my feet felt supported while at the same time there’s a minimal, almost-barefoot feel to this shoe.
The soles are super-light and flexible, giving my feet a tactile quality, one with the ground. I feel agile and cat-like when I wear them for HIIT and plyometric workouts.
The gym is my home away from home lately. From rocking the freeweights to hitting up a Bodypump class, I’ve barely taken these shoes off. I love them that much.
Final words: Light, flexible and super comfy. The Asics Gel-Fit Sana works as hard as you do yet is so stylish, you’ll want to wear them around town as well. They get 10 toes up from me.
What’s your favorite way to crosstrain? What’s your go-to shoe for the gym?

I love a low profile shoe like that! They look fantastic and it sounds like they are a great fit for your off season plans. And you look badass with your squat bar, btw!

To install the Windows 7 Bluetooth stack you need to first connect a Bluetooth device via
USB; this will begin the Windows Add new hardware wizard and once complete your device will have control over the Bluetooth connection protocols included in the Windows 7
stack. Another area of energy loss through windows is by convection or
via leaks in the weather-stripping seals around the operating window sash edges and
at the meeting rail where the two sashes come together.
In addition, homeowners and business owners should try to
buy ones that make a home or business more secure.
