Again this week I’m linking up for #FoodieFridays over at A Dish of Daily Life. Be sure to stop over there behold the deliciousness and share something of your own! Send the kids to school and whaddya know? It gets broiling hot. No better time to take the cooking out to the grill, right? Actually we’ve been grilling a ton this summer and here’s one of our favorites:
1.5T sesame oil
1.5T water
2t each: rice vinegar, toasted sesame seeds, and soy sauce or tamari
A pound or so of raw shrimp, tails off and deveined
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and toss shrimp in to coat. Thread on skewers and grill until pink.
Serve with rice, couscous, or quinoa and whatever veggies look good in the garden. Here I made kabobs with onions, bell peppers and zucchini. Serves 2-3. Enjoy!
What’s fun for you this weekend? Anyone racing?
Oh my gosh… I am drooling. No joke.
This sounds and looks delicious!!
No races for me, but I just did my longest trail run ever. 5 hours and my feet are still on. That’s a good sign, right?
Mmmm sounds good. We’ve been living off the grill this summer and will try to keep grilling as least through September as long as the weather cooperates 🙂
Oh, gosh! Love this recipe. I can’t get enough shrimp and sesame oil is so good.
5K today!
That looks delicious! Thanks for the recipe.
That sounds really good!
Hey, we have shrimp in our freezer waiting for the right recipe… this sounds so good!
My favorite part of this recipe is how few ingredients are involved!!!
Love how simple and delicious this looks.
This sounds delish! I’m always looking for a new way to prepare shrimp.
This looks fabulous! I love how easy this is too! We’ll definitely be trying it. Thanks so much for linking it up with us at Foodie Fridays!
Oh my gosh!! That shrimp looks amazing and I absolutely LOVE the fact that it was cooked outside considering indoor cooking makes the house soooo hot this time of year.
Your shrimp look SCRUMPTIOUS! Thanks for linking up this week with #FoodieFridays! Stop by this week to see if you’re featured and link up new vittles for us to try! http://bit.ly/XWDxrg
