What better way to celebrate National Running Day than with a free race? This one looks fun too. The Hit and Run 5k is an exciting obstacle race for ages 10 and up. Obstacles are challenging but not hard.
You’ll splash, bounce, flip, flop and catapult yourself to a triumphant finish.
Runners are welcome to skip any obstacles they aren’t comfortable with doing so no pressure, just fun! If you enjoy a little climbing, dodging and balancing while you run, this race is for you.
With races across the country, check here to find one near you! Check out the Hit and Run 5k Facebook page for more information.
WIN IT! One lucky reader will win two free entries to the Hit and Run 5k race of their choice. Any location!

Looks fun! I’ve entered and if I win I will give my tickets to two of my sons. They run but just for exercise, have never been in a race. The two of them have developed an iPhone app for running, TrailMix, that synchronizes your music to your pace.

I’d go with the Chicago race. It looks like a fun time and I think my daughter would be game to do it with me. ๐

St. Louis – not me, but my husband and his best friend. His best friend is moving there and my husband is upset, so I think them doing a race together would be perfect.
