It’s Thursday, the holiday weekend is just about here, and face it, I feel like partying! But it’s not quite time to let loose, I’ve got a sickie at home with me today, a race on Saturday so Lindsay’s Pin-It Party sounds perfect. Feel free to join in the fun: just pin five of your favorite posts and go link up on Lindsay’s blog. Visit and re-pin posts you like from others, it’s all good. Here goes:
First things first: Who doesn’t need food ideas for weekend get-togethers? Here are some quick easy ones.
These Balsamic-Shallot Green Beans look fancy but they’re so easy. Cannot wait to harvest some green beans out of our garden, although I’m not holding my breath on that. Ha!
I am fo sho making these Barbecue Roasted Veggies this weekend. A crowd favorite!
This Strawberry Yogurt Pie was a huge hit on Mother’s Day. Creamy, delicious and won’t break the bank on calories.
These Broccoli Quinoa Patties have to be one of my favorite things I’ve made recently. Nutrient-dense and delicious!
And finally, switching gears away from food for a sec (what?):
Here’s a great post from my coach about the right way to ease back into training after illness or injury.

Those roast veggies look amazing! Actually, all the food does. It’s just as well I’ve just eaten breakfast or I’d be wanting some.
