Loving the longer daylight
Not loving the lingering polar temps
Not Loving that the Olympics are over
Loving there were no terrorist attacks and the athletes get to go home to clean water and Bob Costas’ eye can make a full recovery.
Loving that spring break is fast approaching
Not loving that my body isn’t remotely, I mean quite ready for swimsuit primetime
Loving that we’re going away for spring break
Not loving that my first half marathon of the year takes place 5 days after we return.
Loving that The Bachelor is winding down, although what tripe TV show will I replace it with??
Not loving this season seems to be filled with bims and JP is a box of rocks.
Loving the Caveman’s sister is getting married next week
Not loving that means a major fashion/hair/nails overhaul for me and the kids. It takes a village…unless I can wear Under Armor??
Super not loving that my MIL will in town, tightly wound.
Loving that I pulled off 2x800m, 12x400m speedwork today and managed not to die.
Not loving, who am I kidding? I love all of that now that it’s over!
misszippy1 says
Well, you could go my route and watch the Real Housewives series…I am quite fond of NY, Beverly Hills and OC. Now that’s some low-brow TV.
And I am thankful I do not need to be in a bathing suit right now; let’s just leave it at that.
Way to crush the speed work! Use spring break as your taper…

Loving that I leave the polar temps of the NE tomorrow for Florida.
Not Loving that it was 80 degrees and sunny last week in Florida and rainy, windy & cool this week.
Ja @Ja on the RUN says
Yay for spring just around the corner but I miss the winter olympics. Those athletes are amazing! 🙂
Kim says
I always love your loving/not loving posts!!
I’m happy that I don’t need to be putting on a swim suit anytime soon!
I agree – Juan Pablo is a complete idiot and I don’t really like any of the girls left!
Hooray for getting the speed work done today!!
Michelle @ Running with Attitude says
That is a serious speed workout! Way to go!
Definitely not loving that the polar temps are back – but I’m with Amanda…thankful that I don’t have to think about swimsuits yet! LOL!

Not loving that my vacation is over.
Not loving that all of the next weekends will be filled with school work.
Loving that I go back to Maine for my half marathon.

🙂 Loving that the Olympics are over so I can get back to my regular weekly shows that I miss & have not been on! 😉
elizabeth says
totally not into JP this season. I’ve watched it on and off. Loving-work is busy. Not loving-work is busy. 🙂 busy means more $$ but it also means less free time. I haven’t read blogs or blogged in a week!

You may wind up working out on spring break. I’m sure it will be fine.
I’m loving (or trying or possibly pretending) that my youngest child has found something to do with himself after he graduates HS. He joined the Navy today.
I’m not loving that once he leaves I can’t see him whenever I want or even pick up the phone and call him. Does NOT make me a happy mom.
Robin (Masshole Mommy) says
I am totally bummed that the Olympics are over, too.
Wendy@Taking the Long Way Home says
Loving that I’m leaving for Florida in 3 weeks AND I’m running my first half of the season. I have no idea how it will go because this cold weather training does not translate well to humidity and warmth…but who cares?!
Great workout today…keep up the good work! What races do you have planned for our hometown? We need to meet up at one! I’m doing the CARA Lakefront 10 miler in April, the Chicago Spring Half on May 18.
Char says
Good luck with your MIL. I swear they’re given to us to make us stronger, better people.
Tina@GottaRunNow says
Sometimes the best thing about speedwork is that it’s over!
Kate says
Loving: the isolated 60* days we get occasionally, my wonderful students, continued opportunities to get outside and play.
Not loving: the recurring freezing temps, the NyQuil haze I’m living in, the fact that my son’s ship date to Marine Corps boot camp changes on a weekly basis.
Jealous if your spring break plans but not of your upcoming MIL time. Here’s hoping things go smoothly!
thedoseofreality says
We are boycotting this season of The Bachelor…if you read our post today you will understand why, but have heard it is awful. I am looking forward to spring break, too! Am sad the Olympics are over also, but so relieved that there were no terrorist attacks.-Ashley

NOT LOVING? meh 🙂 Im all all all love this morning 🙂
c2iowa says
Negative 20 degree this morning. It is just more proof that God hates Iowa. Why would someone live where the air hurts your face? I have lived here for 8 yrs and still have not figured out why. lol
Kovas - Midwest Multisport Life says
Kind of surprising that UA or one of the other big companies hasn’t come out with a wedding guest line yet – how comfy would that be?!
Lisa @ RunWiki says
We don’t have regular cable TV so I can’t watch The Bachelor this season– I’m loving that I’m not able to watch TV that I consider a time suck–I am very vulnerable to being addicted to that kind of stuff. I am not loving that I did not get to watch the Olympics .
Meghan says
Ahh! I am majorly jealous that you’re going away for the break! I am dying to get away from this Polar Vortex, but alas, I also have a baby, and I don’t think I’ll be traveling anytime soon. (Does Indy count???)
I can’t even begin to think about swimsuits. Oy.
kilax says
Man! That is some killer speedwork!
I hope the wedding is fun and your MIL doesn’t make you too nuts!
Not loving how swamped I am at work, but loving feeling like I am getting a lot done.
Jamie @ couchtoironwoman says
I wish I could wear UnderArmour to a wedding!! Jealous about your spring break, and you’ll rock the half marathon after!
I also miss the Olympics, only 2 years until the summer ones!
