Here in Chi-town we’ve been blessed with a string of gorgeous days with 100% sunshine. What better to time to spread some of that around? Elle was sweet enough to honor me with the Sunshine Award. Thanks Elle!

3. Answer 10 questions about yourself.
4. Nominate 10 bloggers to receive the award. Link your nominees to the post and comment on their blogs letting them know they’ve been nominated.

- Nicest time of year? Probably right now, although the fall colors are just barely starting.
- Favorite flower? Oh so many great ones. I’ll go with hyacinth because they’re beautiful and fragrant too.
- Scary food you would never ever even taste? Oysters.
- Zodiac sign? Sagittarius.
- What spice would describe you? Curry. Even yet complex, with a notable finishing kick.
- Snooze button or jump out of bed? The latter. No alarm needed.
- Morning drink? Coffee when I allow it, which is often, lately.
- Song that means something special to you? Pass.
10. Secret crush? That would be Salty, GU’s salted caramel yeti.

I did this today, too! You had some great questions to answer. Love the childhood memory with your grandparents. My parents would LOVE if those were L’s memories of her childhood someday!

I’m driving over and taking you to get oysters right now! Oysters Rockefeller is one of the most delicious foods ever. Yum! Yum!
I don’t have a favorite flower. Jason bought me a dozen roses once when we were dating and I told him they were beautiful but a waste of money. I’d rather have a magazine. I get a magazine almost every Valentine’s day. Usually something hard to find on some sort of weird subject that I’m interested in at the moment.
