The kids have been out of school 3 full weeks now and I still don’t feel like we’ve settled into any kind of routine. In my head I think of July 4th as the ‘middle’ of summer break and it’s all downhill from there…you know days getting shorter, back to school ads cropping up (grrrr).
Have you settled into summer?

Runners, start your ovens!
I’ve been a baking fool all morning preparing for this weekend’s Kisses for Katie Auction, hosted by Kari.
After exhaustive deliberation I’ve decided my submission up for bid will be:
Healthified Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Oatmeal Cookies
They feature whole wheat flour, a touch of oat bran, GU, bittersweet chocolate, protein powder…ok maybe not some of those….but take it from me they are the bomb and you need to bid early and often.

Mezamashii Project
It’s no secret that Mizuno shoes have been my long distance lovers since the beginning of time. I’ve run all 22 of of my half marathons and 6 full marathons and counting in Wave Creations. I am extremely blister prone but that problem was solved 0nce I slipped into Mizunos. As one of Mizuno’s biggest fans, I am honored to be a founding member of the Mezamashii Project. I selected my go-to shoe in beloved Master’s Mojo orange. Watch for these this fall on the Marine Corps Marathon course. I think I’ll pimp them out with Sweat Pink laces. If you haven’t already, go join the Mezamashii Project now and be eligible to receive your own pair of Mizuno shoes.
Anyone racing this weekend?
Have you entered my Zipfizz giveaway?

You are singing my tune here–three weeks w/ no school and yet to establish a routine! Leaving for a few days at the shore won’t help that matter, but I can’t wait.
Love the new kicks!

Our summer routine is not too different, but I can imagine what a transition it must be when you’re used to having kids in school!
I just won a pair of Mizunos thorough a giveaway and am SO excited to try them- I’ve always worn Brooks or Sauconys.

I though you wrote “heath-ified” cookies, as in the candy. You can see where my mind is….
