Of course I’m thankful for so many things. Although it was a challenging year running-wise, I am so grateful for the adventures and opportunities I had, disappointing races and all. The gift of running and the health benefits that come along with it are not something I take for granted.
I wanted to give a special shout out to all of you, who stop by and read my ramblings. Whether you do it regularly or sporadically, I am grateful all the same.
I am routinely amazed by your words of support, wisdom and caring, and I swear, given the awesome comments I get, runners are some of the wittiest, funniest peeps around (you know I love me some shenanigans).
I love that you keep coming by whether I’m running well or poorly or even not at all (runnbatical anyone?) There is such a sense of community in the blogosphere. I’ve had the privilege of meeting some of you and I have hopes of meeting lots more.
I’m off to run (I use that term loosely) a 10k (first Garmin-free race ever) in the wind and rain. Every step will be filled with gratitude. For it is such an honor and a privilege to be able to RUN!
