Good luck and safe travels whether you’re coming across town or across the pond! Have a wonderful time in Chi-Town! I’ve ordered up some really cool weather for you (hey it beats 2007’s sweat fest). Soak up the amazing energy of the neighborhoods and enjoy some super-fast finish times! As you stand at that starting line remember all the months of training you’ve invested for this day. Congratulations on an amazing accomplishment. Enjoy every second out there! I will be prowling around the expo today and I’ll be volunteering at the starting corrals bright and early on race day. Can’t wait to hear some awesome race reports!
Have a great time Ruth, Amy, Beth, Chad, Gina, Liv, Dman, Robert and everyone else!

Thank you so much Marcia! I keep reminding myself to breathe in and breathe out. (I'm a little nervous.) Last night though, I was looking back at the training plan I followed for this race, and zeroing in on the final box that tells me what I can expect to do given everything I have already done. I can expect success. I WILL expect success. I do expect success. Thank you for your encouraging words and for being a part of my journey.
