Now that my two marathons of the year are completed and my quest for the 6 World Marathon Majors is a mission accomplished, I’ve been reflective. Reflective on the journey, the and downs, and what, if anything, I’d do differently. Today I’m sharing running gear and accessories that have gone the distance and really helped me along on this journey.
Running Gear That Goes the Distance
Spandits! at the London finish line for the win!
Spandits! Boardies. I’ve been a Spandits! Ambassador for years because I can’t get enough of the fun patterns and colors. Made by a small, women-owned company in Maine, the fit on all of their tights, shorts and skirts has always been perfect. No chafing anywhere ever! Remember SPANDITSLOVE saves you 10% off your first order. Tell them I sent you.
Lily Trotters Compression Socks. While I do not wear compression socks to run, I do wear them after long runs and on the plane over to London and Tokyo, because good circulation is super important to running and recovery. Not only are they cute, they aren’t so tight that I need to roll them down after a couple of hours. I’m able to wear them comfortably for the long haul.
Now Magnesium Topical Spray. I’ve sung the praises of this product before and I can’t go without mentioning it again. It’s that good. Marathon training is a long-term commitment and I rely on this product every step of the way. Whenever I feel post-workout muscle pain, strain or fatigue, I apply this spray to the site and massage it in. It’s especially convenient when a magnesium bath is not convenient. It helped keep me healthy through two marathons a month apart so it has to be good! Save $10 off your $40 purchase at Now Foods with MARCIANOW10.
Balega Silver Socks. I ran both the London Marathon and soaking-wet Tokyo in Silvers and my feet came away healthy and happy. I can’t say enough about the cushioning where you need it, perfect, non-slip fit and oh yes the fun colors. Because colors make me happy.
Cryofreeze CBD Pain Relief Roll On. This stuff is the bomb. I roll it on over achy, post-marathon muscles, ornery tendons, etc. Within 10 minutes I feel a soothing, ice-like sensation and pain relief. In addition to 150 mg CBD, Cryofreeze includes other healing botanicals including Menthol, Arnica, Aloe and Boswellia. Try it right now and save 20% with MEMORIAL19.
WIN IT!
TWO lucky winners will receive Cryofreeze CBD Pain Relief Roll-On. U.S. residents only please.

I really should try those Spandits. As I’ve gained a few pounds I realize I like that style of shorts ( paired with a longer tank of course)😉.

Our weekend will be low key. Going to my parents on Monday, but at least for once the weather might actually be nice!
